I was wary of this product at first because it is so cheap but it seems to work fine. just make sure you read the product name: "once a month flea and tick drops for DOGS" before you give it to your cat! This review is from: Hartz Advanced Care 3 In 1 Once-A Month Flea & Tick Drops For Dogs and Puppies Over 90 Pounds (Misc.) We have a 100 lb German Shepherd and this stuff works fine. A bit too perfumy for our liking, but effective nonetheless. Our dog has had none of the reactions described by other users. I have to assume that like *any* product, there are some dogs with sensitive skin, or who will be allergic to specific chemicals, and still other owners who have to obsess about *something* so they justify paying 10 times the cost for a different product. This stuff works. Give it a try. This will not get rid of fleas you already have. HOWEVER This is a great preventative for fleas. If used regurly and as directed, you will not have a flea problem. You will also avoid costly flea meds that your vet will try to sell you. If you already have fleas, you will need to spray or bomb your house, treat your dog with a good flea shampoo, some Hartz drops, and possibly a Capstar tablet.
