PetArmor Plus is a near-exact replica of Frontline Plus starting from what really matters - the active ingredients and the shape and size of the pipettes/applicators - to packaging design including the color scheme and most of the words used to describe the product. In other words, if you've been using Frontline Plus and been happy with the results (my case) but not so happy about the high price then you are likely to like PetArmor more because you are getting more or less the exact same thing for a few dollars less. I will be using PetArmor now for as long as there is a significant price difference between the 2 brands.

For anyone unfamiliar with the product: all you do is one monthly application on the dog's skin at a spot behind the neck and between shoulders and the dog is protected for at least one month. It works well with our 2 huskies and I can't see why it wouldn't work with other dogs for as long as you make sure that the liquid as applied on the skin, not on the... Read more

I have a lab who had tons of fleas and also hundreds of ticks on him. They were every where, in his ears, between his toes, by his eyes, it was terrible. we tried giving him tick/flea baths but that mainly took care of the fleas and they would always keep coming back. we used the Adams spray on him and that worked really well for the fleas and the ticks in his ears(i highly reccomend it), but it worked for only a little while and a couple of days later, they would all come back. i used drops that were from Hartz (NEVER USE THIS), it did not work at all. i then took him to the vet and my vet was telling me how Frontline just lost its patent on their ingredients and that there was a new over the counter flea/tick drops now available. He also said that it was much cheaper pricewise than frontline too. I went to my local walmart and sure enough they had it. i used it on my lab and the ticks and fleas were all dead within 2-3days. the first day all the fleas died and the ticks just started... 5.0 out of 5 stars Frontline Plus clone, so for better or worse it will work precisely the same, February 25, 2012

We're conscientious pet owners who drive 50 miles each way to take our 6 "fur kids" (2 dogs/4 cats currently)to the best vet practice in our area, although plenty of other vets are much closer-and MUCH cheaper.

Until I came across this exact chemical clone of Frontline Plus last year we'd BEEN using Frontline Plus for all of our dogs for years, based on the highest recommendation of our muulti-vet practice in a nearby upscale town to us. (It wasn't until the FRONTLINE (regular and Plus versions) patent ran out, that a "generic" or other clone was available in this country-legally anyway.) They COULD have recommended any similar product and do also sell several competing products for fleas and ticks, but they don't insist that we purchase ANY topical med from them, (although they do record what we use in the pets medical files) so they have no financial incentive to push one over the others.

In our area (E. Tenn/Western N.C.) all year long flea and tick... Read more
